Preparation

Directions for Use
Regardless of what area you are waxing, there are some simple rules to follow to help maximise great results.
1. Apply the liquid wax in the direction of the hair growth. You want it to be a thin film that you can still see the hair and skin through. Depending on the area, the direction of the growth will be different. Avoid the temptation to scrape the spatula back and forward.
2. Place the cotton strips on the wax, and rub down firmly with the palm of your hand 2-3 times, in the direction of the hair growth. This will ensure the hair in immersed in wax.
3. Holding the skin firmly and tightly with one hand, grab the edge of the cotton strip and quickly pull it back, against the direction of the hair growth, aiming to keep the strip as close and parallel to the skin as possible. Avoid lifting it up and away from the skin.
4. Any wax residue can be washed away with warm water and cloth.

Helpful Hints
Our Liquid Wax can be warmed in the microwave, or on the stove top in a pot of water. Check our handy guide for approximate times. Remember that microwaves vary in output, so it is recommended to warm the wax in 15 second intervals help minimise overheating. The wax will warm from the outside of the pot first, so stir it regularly to ensure an even temperature and consistency. You want the wax to be the consistency of thick honey.
