EYEBROWS ARE ONE OF YOUR MOST IMPORTANT FACIAL FEATURES. THEY CAN FRAME YOUR FACE WHILST GIVING YOU A POLISHED LOOK AND CAN ALSO HELP TO EFFORTLESSLY ACCENTUATE YOUR EYES. WAXING YOUR EYEBROWS AT HOME IS NOT ONLY EASY TO DO, BUT IT CAN BE ACHIEVED QUITE QUICKLY WITH LONG-LASTING RESULTS. FOLLOW OUR STEPS BELOW TO ACHIEVE SALON QUALITY RESULTS AT HOME.
Step 1: Determine the shape
Before you get started, identify the right eyebrow shape for your face. An easy trick is to hold up a pencil against the side of your nose and mark where your eyebrows should start. Then, line the pencil up from the same are of your nose to the outer corner of your eye to see where your brows should end. For the arch, this should begin where the pencil from your nose passes across the edge of your pupil.
Step 2: Preparation
Preparation is key when it comes to achieve maximum results. Prepare the skin by making sure it is clean and free of dirt, oils or make up.
For the sensitive eyebrow area, we recommend our Marzena Sensitive Facial Wax Strips. They are designed for sensitive skin combined with the fabric style strip that makes them great at grabbing the hair and not the skin. This helps minimise pain and maximise results. They also contain natural extracts of Aloe Vera, Green Tea and Mint, to help calm and soothe the skin during the treatment.
Step 3: Wax
Firstly, warm the strips between your hands for 5 seconds to warm them up. Then slowly separate the strips to ensure an even layer of wax remains on both sides. Apply the strip with firm pressure, smoothing down with your fingertips 2-3 times ensuring the hair is immersed in wax. Hold the skin firmly with one hand and grab the strip with the other and quickly zip back against the hair growth.
Finish off by using a tweezer to pluck any remaining unwanted hairs to give it a tidier and more polished look. Clean up and calm the skin by finishing off with our soothing aftercare wipes.
